Gwen Ter Horst

Gwen Ter Horst is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic environmental management and energy consultancy. Currently serving as the interim strategic environmental manager for Zuid-Holland at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) since July 2024, Gwen also owns Ter Horst Solutions since May 2017 and holds a supervisory board position at Omroep Zeeland since April 2023. Previous roles include strategic environmental manager for Gasunie's Delta Rhine Corridor project, senior advisor for energy at TwynstraGudde, and project leader for sustainable energy projects at Green Trust Consultancy. Earlier positions include communication manager at Windpark Krammer and a decade of journalistic experience at NOS, culminating as a political editor in The Hague and correspondent for the EU and NATO in Brussels. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Amsterdam and further studies at Vlerick Business School and other institutes.
