Mike Ackermans

Mike Ackermans is an experienced leader in media and communications, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at University College Roosevelt since April 2024 and as the Directeur-bestuurder of Omroep Zeeland since August 2022. Previously, Mike held the position of Director at the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek from September 2015 to August 2022, overseeing the division responsible for the dissemination of statistics and media cooperation. Additional roles include President of Stichting Paradox, Member of the Visitatiecommissie voor de Rechtspraak, and Editor in Chief at HDC Media. Mike has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Hogeschool Utrecht and worked as a media and communications specialist at Axzmedia. Education includes a Master's degree in History and Communications from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a program at the EESA Erasmus Governance Institute.
