Chitu Daniel

Chitu Daniel has extensive experience in refinery operations, currently serving as a Senior Expert in Refinery Operations at OMV Petrom since September 2012. Prior roles at OMV Petrom include Senior Process Engineer and various managerial positions overseeing refinery plants. Chitu's professional background also includes positions at COMPROIECT-92 as a Principal Process Engineer and at Saipem as a Senior Process Engineer, where involvement in significant projects such as the Eni Slury technology for the Sannazzaro refinery was noted. Earlier career contributions occurred at PetroVietnam, IPIP SA, URS, Rompetrol Vega Refinery, and Lukoil Refinery, with a focus on process engineering and training. Chitu holds a degree in Oil Processing, Petrochemistry and Carbochemistry from Oil and Gas University Ploiesti, complemented by a high school diploma in chemical operations.
