Peter Wills

Peter Wills is an experienced drilling professional with a diverse background in offshore operations and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Drilling Supervisor at OMV Petrom since October 2024, Wills leads drilling activities on the Transocean Barrett for the Neptun Deep project. Prior roles include Night Drilling Supervisor at CNOOC International, overseeing a 4 well infill drilling campaign, and a similar position at Ithaca Energy, where responsibilities encompassed subsea abandonment and batch drilling campaigns. Wills has also held positions with TAQA Group, EXCEED, Hess Corporation, Heerema Marine Contractors, and Schlumberger, demonstrating a strong ability to manage complex projects, implement performance improvements, and ensure quality control. Wills holds a BEng (Honours) in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and Stellenbosch University.
