Traian Banciu

Traian Banciu has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked with OMV Petrom since September 1991, where current responsibilities include serving as the Department Manager of Production System Optimization. Over the years, Traian has held several key positions, including Head of Production Planning and Reporting Office, and Head of Production Office for the East Region, achieving significant milestones such as the implementation of ESP technology and deep downhole progressive cavity pumps. Traian's technical expertise also encompasses a background as a senior engineer dedicated to new production technology implementation and as a completion engineer focused on testing new wells. In addition to industry experience, Traian is a member of SPE Romanian and holds a physics degree from Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești, obtained in 1991.
