Gabor Tari

Gabor Tari is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Group Chief Geologist at OMV since November 2007. Prior to this role, Gabor held the position of Vice President of Geosciences at Vanco Energy Company from 1999 to 2007 and worked as a Geophysicist at Amoco, later BP-Amoco, from 1994 to 1999. Gabor obtained a Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics from Rice University between 1989 and 1994 and holds an MSc in Geophysics and Geology from Eötvös Loránd University, earned from 1982 to 1987.
