Ismael Abdel Maaboud

Ismael Abdel Maaboud is an accomplished project director and senior project manager with extensive experience in the chemical and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Project Director at OMV since October 2024, Ismael has previously held senior roles at Borealis and Michelin, where significant contributions included leading strategic teams, managing high-value projects, and overseeing manufacturing operations. Throughout Ismael's career, a strong focus on safety and quality has been evident, with notable achievements like managing the successful execution of a Greenfield synthetic rubber plant project at Michelin that achieved an excellent safety record. Education includes a BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath, obtained from 1994 to 1998.
