Karl Rose

Karl Rose is an accomplished strategist with extensive experience in senior roles across several prominent organizations. Since 2017, Karl has served as Chief Strategist at ADNOC, where responsibilities include developing and sustaining strategic initiatives. At OMV, Karl holds a position on the Supervisory Board and chairs the Strategy and Project Committee, guiding long-term strategic direction for one of Austria's largest industrial companies. Additionally, Karl is the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Energie Steiermark AG and a Professor for Strategic Management and Applied Business Economics at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, focusing on the complexities of business strategy in volatile environments. Previously, Karl was the Senior Director for Policy & Scenarios at the World Energy Council and Chief Strategist at Shell, where strategic oversight and innovation were integral to operational success.
