Martin Kornberger

Martin Kornberger is an accomplished professional in the field of petroleum engineering with extensive experience in various roles at OMV and OMV Petrom. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Geothermal at OMV since December 2023, Kornberger has previously held significant positions including Head of Technology and Innovation and Senior Department Manager for IOR/EOR Technologies, focusing on CCUS, Geothermal, Hydrogen, and enhanced oil recovery applications. Kornberger's career spans over a decade at OMV, with expertise in reservoir management, engineering, and team leadership, notably mentoring teams of reservoir engineers and geologists in complex projects such as polymer flooding and major oil field redevelopment. Kornberger holds a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben.
