Paul Owen

Paul Owen is an accomplished exploration professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Exploration Manager for New Zealand at OMV since March 2021. Previously held positions include Head of Exploration Global and Acting Vice President of Exploration. Prior to OMV, Paul Owen led Australia & New Zealand operations at SapuraOMV and served in various exploration roles across prominent companies such as Sapura Energy Berhad, Newfield Exploration, TOTAL, Hess Corporation, Woodside Energy, ExxonMobil, and Santos Ltd. Paul Owen holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Applied Geology from Curtin University, earned in 1998.
