Udo Besser

Udo Besser has been with OMV since October 2002, currently serving as the Department Manager Operations Petrochemicals in Schwechat, Austria. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing the Ethylene Plant, Hydrogen Plant, Gas Recovery Plant, and Tankfarm. Previous positions at OMV include Head of Operations Petrochemicals, focusing on cross-site refinery petrochemical integration, value optimization, and product development. Udo's career began at Fraunhofer UMSICHT from 1997 to 2002 as a student assistant, working on cryogenic waste treatment. Udo Besser obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Chemietechnik from TU Dortmund University between October 1996 and May 2002.
