Mithat Can Kamis

Mithat Can Kamis serves as the Head of Operations at Omya since July 2020, overseeing all country operations, including plants and mines, with a focus on production, compliance, and budget management. Previously, as a Plant Manager, Mithat managed QSHE initiatives and budget handling for micronized calcium carbonate powder production. At Eczacıbaşı Yapı Ürünleri Grubu, Mithat held positions as Production Manager and Production Specialist, focusing on tile production and raw materials research for ceramics. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Production Engineer at HABUR Mining&Logistics and Mining Engineer at Okten Group. Mithat holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Anadolu University and an Engineer's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Dumlupınar University.
