Christina Borg

Christina Borg has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Christina started as a Legal Assistant at Dr. Edward Gatt in 2013, where they assisted in legal work and accompanied Dr. Gatt to court. In 2015, they joined Enemalta plc as a Legal Apprentice, and was later promoted to In-house Lawyer in 2017. At Enemalta, they represented the company in judicial proceedings. In 2019, Borg worked as a Compliance Officer at Jackpot.com, where they reported to the Compliance Manager and provided support to the legal team. Christina then worked as a Compliance Officer at NetEnt in 2020 and as a Compliance Manager at Evolution in 2021. Currently, Borg is the Regulatory Compliance Team Lead at OnAir Entertainment, taking on a leadership role in ensuring regulatory compliance within the company.

Christina Borg obtained their Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree in Law from the University of Malta, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. In addition, they have obtained a Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Funding from LEAD Training Services. Furthermore, Christina has also completed a Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Diploma Course from the Centre of Excellence Online Ltd.
