Hilary Schenker

Hilary Schenker is an experienced professional currently serving as an On Deck Fellow since January 2022. As the owner of Green Comma Media since August 2014, Hilary manages a design company that delivers customized illustration, logos, animated videos, and graphic design services to clients including The Pittsburgh Children’s Museum and the Sierra Club. Previously, Hilary held the position of Community Liaison at the New York Public Library - Centers for Reading and Writing from February 2006 to February 2014, where responsibilities included coordinating activities for Learning Centers and developing social media strategies. Additionally, Hilary worked as an Assistant to the Co-Chair at Sterling Lord Literistic, Inc. from June 2004 to November 2005, facilitating workflow and managing submissions. Hilary earned a BA in English with a concentration in Writing from Barnard College in 2004.
