Edmund Zhu

Edmund Zhu has extensive work experience in the IT field. Edmund currently holds the position of Director of IT Infrastructure at On Lok, a role they have held since July 2020. Prior to this, they served as an IT Security Engineer at the same company from February 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining On Lok, Edmund worked at Crescendo Bioscience from January 2018 to February 2019. During their time there, they held the role of Manager, IT Operations and Data Center. Edmund was responsible for cost savings through major projects and successfully led a virtual data center migration with zero impact to the production environment. Edmund also played a key role in network segmentation and data protection.

Edmund's previous experience includes positions at Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC, VGMarket, Concept Art House, and Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. These roles encompassed responsibilities ranging from QA testing to onsite technical support to art direction.

Edmund Zhu attended The Art Institute of California - San Francisco from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art & Design. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In January 2018, they received the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification from Cisco. Edmund obtained the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization certification from VMware in December 2016. Edmund also received the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician certification from CISCO in January 2015.
