Mimy Poon

Mimy Poon, MSW, is a seasoned medical social worker currently employed at On Lok, Inc. since April 2015. Mimy has a strong background in social work, having served as a clinical social worker at Aldea Children & Family Services, where expertise was focused on treatment foster care and adoptions. Previous roles include data entry at Balluun and various positions at Mt. Diablo Unified School District and University Village Recreation at UC Berkeley, where skills in community coordination and youth instruction were developed. Mimy gained valuable experience as a case manager intern at Abode Services and as a youth instructor with BAYAC AmeriCorps at Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center. An additional leadership role was held as an AmeriCorps team leader with Safe Passages. Mimy Poon holds a Master’s in Social Welfare and a Bachelor’s in Social Welfare and Legal Studies, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
