Rip Gellein

Rip was a Board Member at Marriott Vacations Worldwide and held the position of Vice Chairman and Treasurer at The Mind and Life Institute. Rip also served as the Chairman and CEO at Strategic Hotels & Resorts, President of Global Development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and Chairman and CEO at Starwood Vacation Ownership. Prior to that, they were the Chairman and Co-CEO at Vistana Inc and held various leadership roles at Vistana Resort. Rip Gellein has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Denison University, which they obtained from 1965 to 1969. Rip later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) at Northwestern University, specializing in the fields of Accounting, Finance, and Marketing from 1972 to 1974.
