Carien Hughes has extensive work experience, primarily in the field of sales and operations. Carien currently holds the position of Sales Operations Lead EMEA at On. Prior to this, they worked at Specialized Bicycle Components, where they held various roles including Senior European Product Merchandiser, EMEA Operations Manager, Asia Pacific Operations Manager, International Sales Manager, and International Account Representative. Overall, Carien has a strong background in managing operations and sales in multinational companies.

Carien Hughes completed their Executive MBA from IESE Business School from 2023 to 2025. In 2014, they completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Leadership (CL). Carien earned their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business from 2002 to 2006, with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
