Christian Bahr

Christian Bahr has a long and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Christian is currently working as the EMEA Business Development Lead at On AG, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Sales Europe at the same company from February 2013 to February 2021.

Before joining On AG, Christian worked as a Senior Associate at Talent Gallery GmbH from October 2012 to January 2013. Christian also had a short stint as the Owner of On Focus - Consulting from August 2012 to January 2013.

In terms of their previous roles, Christian worked as the Sales Director Specialist Sport Trade Germany at Puma SE from April 2011 to May 2012. Christian also served as the Head of International Sales at Marc Shoes GmbH from June 2008 to March 2011.

Prior to that, Christian held the position of Field Sales Manager Germany & Austria at New Balance from June 2001 to May 2008.

Christian's early career started at Decathlon Germany, where they held multiple roles including Head of Purchasing and Logistics from March 1997 to June 2001, Store Manager from November 1994 to February 1997, and Department Manager from November 1992 to October 1994.

Christian Bahr completed their education at GSB Cologne, London, and Barcelona from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a European Management Diplom with a field of study in European Management. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1991, they attended Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, where they earned a Diplom Sportwissenschaftler degree with a specialization in Sportmanagement.
