Alan Demers

Alan Demers, CPCU, AIC, is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in innovation, claims management, and operational efficiency. Currently serving as the President-Founder of InsurTech Consulting since January 2019, Alan focuses on helping clients modernize insurance across various lines. Additional advisory roles at Soothsayer Analytics and On Scene Services further emphasize Alan's expertise in startup growth and development. Previously, Alan held prominent positions at Nationwide from 1995 to 2019, including Vice President of Claims Innovation & Technology, where significant advancements in claims operations and strategy were implemented. Alan also contributed to LexisNexis as a Claims Advisory Board Member, advising on new products and automation tools. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, along with executive training at Harvard University and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
