Juliet Bongianni, PhD

Juliet Bongianni, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Juliet currently serves as the Director of Formulation Science and CMC at On Target Laboratories since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of CMC at Enzyvant from November 2020 to June 2022.

From June 2018 to November 2020, Juliet worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Manager of Manufacturing Sciences. Juliet'sresponsibilities included providing technical oversight to development activities for over 120 client projects, with a focus on sterile liquid-filled or lyophilized drug products. Juliet also supported technical transfer activities throughout the stages of drug product development.

Juliet gained valuable experience at Pfizer as an R&D Group Leader from May 2016 to June 2018. In this role, they worked closely with project management and technical transfer teams to develop sterile injectable generic drug products for various markets. Juliet led a team of eight scientists through analytical, formulation, process, and package development activities.

Prior to Pfizer, Juliet worked at Indivior as a Scientist II from September 2006 to January 2016. Juliet'sresponsibilities included developing novel manufacturing processes for drug products and scaling them up for toxicology and Phase I-III manufacturing campaigns. Juliet also played a role in vendor evaluation and audit processes.

Early in their career, Juliet served as the Director of Laboratory Services at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, where they oversaw analytical, quality, and microbiological laboratories. Juliet provided technical support to various departments and developed lab quality and analytical programs. Juliet also served as a Laboratory Manager at the same company, managing the analytical chemistry laboratory and supervising staff.

Juliet's work experience also includes a role as a Research Scientist at OPTIME Therapeutics, Inc, where they developed topical and ophthalmic liposome formulations. Juliet performed studies to evaluate liposome adhesion and drug absorption.

Additionally, Juliet has held research positions as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley and SUNY Buffalo State College Graduate School. Juliet conducted experiments to evaluate liver enzymes and published findings in the field of biochemistry.

Juliet Bongianni, PhD has a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Chemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Juliet then went on to pursue further education and obtained their Ph.D in Chemistry from New Mexico State University in 1998.
