Aisha Anwar

Aisha Anwar has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Junior Auditor at CLB Coopers in 2013. Aisha progressed through various positions within the company, including Audit Semi Senior, Audit Senior Associate, and finally becoming an Audit Assistant Manager. During this time, they worked with a range of clients, gaining experience in auditing businesses of different sizes and sectors.

In 2015, Aisha became the Chair of the Manchester Chartered Accountants Students' Society, where they organized events and encouraged committee members to share responsibilities. Aisha also held the role of Social Secretary in the same society from 2014 to 2015.

Aisha joined the Manchester Chartered Accountant Students' Society again in 2017 as President, where they provided advice and guidance to the current Chair and the rest of the committee.

In 2017, Aisha started working as a Financial Controller at Innovative Technology Ltd, with responsibilities including preparing financial analysis, managing the finance and admin team, and maintaining statutory records for the business.

Aisha also held the position of Board Member on the ICAEW Business Committee from 2020, contributing to the development and implementation of ICAEW strategy as it relates to business members.

In 2020, Aisha joined On the Beach as the Head of Financial Control, where they are responsible for leading and managing the finance function and providing financial and strategic insights to drive operational performance.

Aisha Anwar completed their ACA degree from ICAEW between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management (International Business Economics) from The University of Manchester from 2010 to 2013. Before their university studies, they attended John Taylor High School and John Taylor Sixth Form, although specific dates were not provided.
