James Cotterill

James Cotterill is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in Ruby on Rails development. Since June 2009, James has held various senior roles at On the Beach, progressing from Senior Developer to Principal Software Engineer, and ultimately to Head of Engineering. Prior to this, James worked as a Web Developer at Kudos Web Solutions Ltd. from June 2007 to June 2009, focusing on ROR and PHP technologies. James began a career in customizing and developing solutions at BOC Information Technologies Consulting GmbH. Academically, James holds a 2.1 degree in Computer Studies from the University of Derby and has a foundational education from Derby College, Lees Brook Community School, St Mary's Hall - Stonyhurst, and St. Pius X Preparatory School.
