Richard Hadley has a diverse work experience in the finance and technology sectors. Richard started their career as a Research Analyst at ASB Bank, where they developed briefing papers, conducted competitor analysis, and supported strategic reviews. Richard then joined Analysys Mason as a Senior Analyst, specializing in analyzing telecom and pay-TV markets. As a Prepay Handset Marketing Manager at Everything Everywhere Ltd, they were responsible for managing T-Mobile UK's pre-pay handset portfolio. Richard then joined Fundamo, a Visa Company, as a Pre-Sales Consultant, focusing on mobile money opportunities in Africa. Richard later moved to Visa, where they served as the Director of Strategy & Sales Support for Emerging Markets Digital, responsible for developing payment strategies and market planning. Currently, Richard is the Strategy & Sales Support Director at Onafriq, where they oversee commercial strategy, pricing, and operational sales management.
Richard Hadley obtained a Master of Commerce (Hons) degree in International Business and Marketing from The University of Auckland, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
