Victor Gichohi

Victor Gichohi is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in managing and developing software solutions across various roles and companies. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Onafriq since September 2020, Victor oversees remote software engineering teams and ensures alignment with product goals. Previously, Victor worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Onafriq, focusing on payment collection systems. Prior to this, Victor contributed as a Software Engineer at Beyonic Inc, specializing in SAAS applications for mobile money services across Africa, and integrated mobile money APIs in several countries. Victor's career began at Twaweza Communication, leading mobile game development aimed at promoting positive virtues among children, and included a role at Yum Deliveries Ltd, where food delivery applications were developed using Django. Victor holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.
