Shriphani Palakodety

Shriphani Palakodety has extensive experience in engineering and research, with a current position as an Engineer at Onai since March 2015. Previously, Shriphani worked as a Researcher at Kimono Labs, integrating academic research into product features and infrastructure, and built a recommender engine. Academic experience includes a PhD candidacy at Carnegie Mellon University focused on Information Retrieval and data mining, and participation in the TREC competition. Internship experiences include software development roles at Yelp.com and Microsoft, leading to a full-time offer from Microsoft. Earlier roles included undergraduate research assistantships at Kihara Bioinformatics Laboratory and VACCINE Center at Purdue University, contributing to innovative projects recognized at academic symposiums.
