Marcos Galperin

Marcos Galperin is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of MercadoLibre Inc (NASDAQ:MELI). He is co-founder of the company and has been a Board Member since October 1999. He is also a board member of Endeavor, a non-profit organization that selects, mentors and accelerates high-impact entrepreneurs around the world. He is also a board member at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Prior to working with the company, Mr. Galperin worked in the fixed income department of J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. in New York from June to August 1998 and at YPF S.A., an integrated oil company, in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1994 to 1997. Mr. Galperin received an MBA from Stanford University and graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
