Alistair Paton

Alistair Paton has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Sales & Marketing Projects Co-ordinator for Amiri Developments SL, where they focused on developing relationships with magazines, marketing agencies, and product designers. Alistair played a significant role in redesigning the portfolio, leading to winning the Best International Property award.

In 2006, Alistair joined NWM Solutions as a New Business Team Leader. Alistair provided support to existing clients and achieved consistent sales results, leading to the creation of a New Business Team, where they were appointed as the Team Leader.

From 2007 to 2011, Alistair worked at Credit Problems No Problem as a CS Supervisor and Web Content Manager. Alistair contributed to increasing the company's profile through web content creation and press releases. Alistair also handled customer requests and complaints effectively.

In 2011, Alistair joined Southernprint Ltd as an Account Manager. Alistair held this role until 2013 before transitioning to b4b marketing.

At b4b marketing, Alistair held several roles from 2013 to 2022, including Sales & Marketing Manager, Operations Director - Web & App Development + SEM, and Product Director. In their Product Director role, they significantly contributed to business strategy, resulting in substantial turnover growth and increased order values. Alistair also built a product-focused team and oversaw the development of social media platforms, mobile apps, and business systems.

Currently, Alistair is employed at OnBuy as a Product Manager, and later transitioned to the role of Lead Product Manager in 2023.

Alistair Paton has a diverse education history. Alistair started with obtaining various certifications in digital marketing from The Academy of Digital Business Leaders, including the ADBL One Star Certified Member, ADBL Two Star Certified Member, and ADBL Three Star Certified Member in 2015. Prior to that, they received a Qualified Certification in Asian Bodywork Therapy from Okinawan Bodywork Dynamics in 2014. In 2013, they earned an NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration from Yeovil College. In 2002, they completed an Advanced GNVQ (Double Award) in Business & Marketing and an AS Level in Critical Thinking from Brockenhurst College. Alistair completed their secondary education at Bournemouth Grammar School, where they obtained 10 GCSE's in various subjects. Throughout their career, Alistair Paton has also obtained additional certifications, including Google Tag Manager Fundamentals, Advanced Google Analytics, and Google Analytics for Beginners from Google. Alistair also holds certifications in BDD overview for Business Analysts and Product Owners from Cucumber Limited, Getting Started with SpecFlow in Visual Studio from SpecFlow, Client Collaboration from Miro, and Product-led Certification from Pendo.io. Alistair is also a certified Okinawan Bodywork Dynamics Practitioner.
