Nadya Pierre, SHRM-SCP

Nadya Pierre, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a High School Math Teacher, Counselor, and Department Head at Oakland Emiliano Zapata Street Academy from 2009 to 2012. Nadya then moved on to Math for America as a Fellow in Cohort '12 from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they also worked as an Office Manager / Executive Assistant at Mounting Systems, Inc. and an Office Manager at RefleXion Medical. From 2017 to 2020, Nadya worked as a People Ops Manager and Operations Manager at Sourceress and a People Ops Consultant and Head of People Ops at Netomi. In 2019, they also took on a role as a Board Member at STREET ACADEMY FOUNDATION. Nadya currently works as a People Ops Consultant at Connie Health and a Head of People at Onc.AI.

Nadya Pierre earned a BA in Ethnic Studies and Math Education from the University of California, Berkeley between 2005 and 2009. Nadya then obtained a Single Subject Credential in Mathematics from Saint Mary's College of California between 2010 and 2012. In 2017, they earned their LEED Green Associate from the USGBC. Finally, in December 2021, they obtained their SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM.
