Roshan Joe Vincent has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2022. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Varian Medical Systems in both the roles of Software Engineer and Data Scientist, where they wrote SQL scripts to query and retrieve patient information from MSSQL database, made changes to UI using WPF and third-party plugins, used TFS to track sprints, versioning, automation of builds, created a classification model using SVM/Random Forest for predicting appointment cancellations with 70% accuracy on highly biased/missing data, and built a time-series based clustering model using K-Means to identify similar patients based on diagnosis, stage progression, distance from home, etc. During the same period, they also worked as a Student Assistant at the Center for Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS), where they used ChartJS to build interactive data visualizations, used Docker to deploy the Python Webservice, and built a Machine Tool Health Real-Time Monitoring System using Python, MySQL, SocketIO, Javascript, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML. Currently, they are working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Onc.AI since 2022.

Roshan Joe Vincent completed a Master of Engineering in Data Science from the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology in 2015. In 2020, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
