Robert Maddrey

Robert Maddrey has over two decades of work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Robert'smost recent position was as the Sr. Director of IT Operations and Information Security at OncoHealth, where they were responsible for overseeing the global operation of network and data center services, as well as managing and leading an IT security operations team. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of IT Operations and Information Security at the same company, where they oversaw internal IT operations and served as the Information Security Officer.

Before their time at OncoHealth, Robert worked as a Technology Consultant at Down Shift Holdings, specializing in helping SMBs with their IT and systems implementations. Robert also served as the Managing Editor for the company. Robert then joined (IPA)® as the Director of Information Technology and Cybersecurity, where they oversaw the implementation of IT initiatives and ensured regulatory compliance and security.

Prior to that, Robert worked as the Manager of Information Technology at Seaway Plastics Engineering, where they led the expansion of the IT department and implemented an ERP/CRM solution. Robert also worked as the Manager of Information Technology at NMC Healthcare, where they built an efficient IT team and implemented electronic medical records.

Robert's early career includes roles such as Business System Analyst and Network Operations Analyst at Talbots, where they focused on integrating retail systems and implementing new hardware and software. Robert also worked as a Help Desk Technician. Robert began their career as an Information Technology Intern at Bloomin' Brands, Inc.

Before entering the IT field, Robert worked as a Cashier at Publix Super Markets.

Robert Maddrey obtained a BA degree in Pre-Law, History, and Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida, which they attended from 1999 to 2005. Robert later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university, completing it between 2012 and 2015. Furthermore, Robert Maddrey holds various certifications, including the GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) obtained from the SANS Institute in December 2021, the GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) acquired in December 2020, the GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) obtained in December 2017, the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) obtained from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2016, the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) received from Microsoft in November 2001, and the CCNA certification received from the University of South Florida in June 2006.
