Ulrica Westermark

Ulrica Westermark currently serves as Biology Director at Oncopeptides AB (publ) since October 2020, overseeing the largest pre-clinical R&D platform and directing the development of assays while coordinating research activities with chemists. Previous roles include Senior Scientist at Affibody AB and Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ), where Ulrica developed predictive assays and contributed to drug candidate development. Academic experience includes postdoctoral research at Karolinska Institutet focusing on microRNA and neuroblastoma, a PhD in Tumor Biology from Karolinska Institutet, and a research assistant position at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Educational qualifications also feature Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Uppsala University in Medical Science and History of Science and Philosophy, respectively.
