Afsheen Barazandeh

Afsheen Barazandeh is an experienced Transmission GI Planning Engineer at Oncor Electric Delivery since May 2023, leading Transmission Generation Interconnection projects and ensuring compliance with grid connection requirements. Previously, Afsheen served as a Sr. GMS Application Engineer at ERCOT, providing support for control room operations and EMS application management. Afsheen's extensive background includes roles as a Sr. Technical Support & Forecast Analyst at Enverus and a Transmission Demand Supply Planning Manager at IGMC, where responsibilities included forecasting and generation scheduling. Afsheen also held project management and operational roles in power transmission, focusing on system development and real-time grid operations. Afsheen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) from IAU University.
