Sebastián Bobadilla Suárez

Sebastián Bobadilla Suárez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Mental Health Promoter at Psychiatric Hospital Fray Bernardino Alvarez. In 2010, they served as a Research Assistant at both the National Institute of Psychiatry Ramon de la Fuente Muniz and the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico. In 2016, Sebastián joined The Alan Turing Institute as an Internship and Enrichment Year Student, where they worked on machine learning classifiers and neural similarity measures. In 2013, they began their tenure at UCL as a PhD student and Research Associate, focusing on computational cognitive neuroscience and machine learning. Sebastián's research work encompassed topics such as fMRI data analysis, belief updating, and heuristics in decision-making. Sebastián also held responsibilities such as organizing seminars and discussions, as well as conducting programming experiments. Sebastián's most recent position is as the Director at OnCorps, which they started in 2022.

From 2007 to 2011, they attended Escuela Nacional de Antropologia e Historia, where they earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Social Anthropology.

In 2012, they enrolled in UCL and successfully completed a Master of Science (MSc) program in Social Cognition: Research and Applications with Distinction.

Continuing their pursuit of higher education, from 2013 to 2017, they attended UCL once again and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cognitive Neuroscience.
