Margarita Jeliazkova is an experienced educator and leader with a diverse background in academia and public service. Currently serving as a member of the Supervisory Board at Onderwijsstichting Arcade since January 2022, and as the owner of Academic Voice since October 2018, Margarita has also held the position of Municipal Council Member for D66 in Enschede from March 2018 to March 2022. Previous roles include Project Leader for the 'Crisis-Resilient Citizenship: Resilience in Healthcare' project at Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Core Teacher in Public Management and Risk Management at the University of Twente. A long-standing educator and researcher at the University of Twente, Margarita's expertise includes citizenship education, research skills, and teacher training. Margarita's academic credentials include a recent postgraduate degree in Teaching Dutch as a Second Language from VU Amsterdam and a doctorate in Citizenship Education from the University of Twente, alongside a Master's in Political Science from Rutgers University and a Master's in Philosophy from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
