Fred Chibwana

Fred Chibwana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and project management across various industries. Currently serving as the Impact and Commercialization Lead at One Acre Fund since June 2019, Fred has also held multiple roles including Field Operations Commercialization Lead and Field Operations Program Associate. Prior experience includes positions at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) as Projects Associate and Graduate Engineer, as well as a Quality Assurance and Production Assistant at Carlsberg Group. Fred has demonstrated expertise in quality control, process engineering, and educational tutoring. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with First-Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, complemented by A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Economics from St Andrew's International High School.
