John Lindner serves as the General Counsel for One Acre Fund since January 2015, leading a team of ten across nine countries in legal analysis, investigations, risk advisory functions, and strategic decision-making. Previously, John held positions as East Africa Legal Counsel and Global Investigations Lead, and Employment Law Analyst at One Acre Fund. At Long Miles Coffee Project, John directed the exportation of coffee and managed partnerships with various organizations. Experience also includes evaluating legal documents at Excelerate Discovery, consulting on environmental policy at The Nature Conservancy, and conducting legal research as a Law Clerk at the same organization. John began a career at Save Mount Diablo, focusing on environmental impact analysis. John holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Cornell University.
