Rudi Ackerman

Rudi Ackerman is currently the Global R&D Integrations Manager at One Acre Fund, responsible for leading the integration and implementation of strategic research projects across East Africa and analyzing research data for decision-making. Prior to this role, Rudi served in various capacities at The African Leadership University, including Manager and Senior Analyst in the Office of the CEO, and Faculty in Projects & Economics. Rudi's earlier experience includes serving as Regional Head of Business Performance at Absa and Business Analyst at Barclays Africa Group Limited, where responsibilities involved performance analysis and tactical planning. Rudi holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Development Theory and Policy from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Risk- and Investment Management from North-West University. Additionally, early experiences include project management in a charity setting and tutoring at the university level.
