Miriam Wilson-Edwards

Mrs. Miriam Wilson-Edwards has over eighteen (18) years internal audit experience in various spheres of business, which includes, Banking and Financial Services, Medical Services, Insurance, Procurement, Contract Management, Real Estate and Commercial Services, Property Development and Facilities Management.

She is a Certified Volunteer Instructor for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Inc. and has facilitated seminars in the USA and in Trinidad and Tobago. Miriam previously served as the Senior Vice-President on the IIA Trinidad and Tobago (IIA-TT) Chapter’s Executive Team and currently serves as a Governor on the IIA-TT Board.

Miriam holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Economics /Finance from UWI, St. Augustine. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) United Kingdom (UK), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), holds Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation with Distinction from the Anglia Ruskin University, UK.
