Jen Gokhale has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design. Jen started their career at The Grommet in 2012, where they worked as a Website Production Associate, Operations Analyst, Manager of SiteOperations, and Internal Product Manager. Jen'sresponsibilities included content management, operational improvement, and managing stakeholder relationships.
In 2017, Jen enrolled in General Assembly's UXDI program and gained core competencies in user research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing. During their time there, they completed four project sprints, including one with a client called Mental Snapp. Jen then joined Mental Snapp as a UX Designer, where they worked in a team to improve their iOS app's engagement and retention by reimagining mood tracking and insights features.
Afterwards, Jen worked as a UX Designer at ViolinSchool, where they and a partner delivered a one-week sprint to enhance user onboarding and navigation experiences for free and paid accounts. Jen also redesigned three main pages to improve usability.
Currently, they are the Manager of UX Design at One Door, where they oversee UX design activities and manages cross-functional teams.
Jen Gokhale began their education in 2007 at Brandeis University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in International and Global Studies, Environmental Affairs, and East Asian Studies. Jen studied at Brandeis University until 2011. In 2010, they also participated in a semester abroad program at Sophia University.
After a gap in their education, Jen enrolled at General Assembly in 2017 and completed the User Experience Design Immersive program in 2018.
