Natalie Wollenweber has a diverse work experience in the fields of writing, editing, and academia. Natalie started their career as a freelance editor at Emerald Dawn Press from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they were awarded the Koret Undergraduate Research Scholarship at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they conducted research on female warriors in Italian Renaissance epic Orlando Furioso and interviewed female veterans. Natalie then worked as an Art/Staff Editor at Red Wheelbarrow Anthology for six months in 2019. In 2020, they served as a Marketing Intern at The Strand Magazine and as a Freelance Proofreader/Copy Editor at Regent Press. Natalie also worked as a Writing Tutor at San Jose State University Writing Center and as a Fiction Editor at Reed Magazine during the same period. In 2021, they joined Steinbeck in the Schools as a Content Editor for a year. Natalie also worked as a Teaching Assistant/Academic Editor at Sonoma State University from January to June 2020. Natalie'smost recent role is as a Content Editor at One Firefly, starting in January 2023.

Natalie Wollenweber pursued their education from 2015 to 2019 at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Literature with a specialization in Creative Writing. Following their undergraduate studies, Natalie enrolled at San Jose State University from 2020 to 2022 to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing.
