Joshua McCann

Joshua McCann has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 as an Associate at L.E.K. Consulting. Joshua then worked as a Volunteer Consultant at TechnoServe and as an Acting Country Director at Innovations for Poverty Action in 2011. In 2012, they became a Project Manager at the World Bank Group. Joshua joined IFC - International Finance Corporation in 2013 as a Summer Intern with the Health and Education Global Equities Team. In 2014, they worked as a Post Graduate Fellow at The Wharton School, where they established a transaction level returns database for the impact investing industry. Joshua also co-founded One for the World, a charitable organization focused on convincing professionals and students to commit a portion of their income to effective charities. At IFC, they held various roles, including Analyst, Associate Syndications Officer, and Syndications Officer, where they led product development for a $500 million infrastructure-focused credit insurance vehicle and syndicated project and corporate finance transactions in Latin America and the Caribbean. Overall, their experience spans across consulting, non-profit, development finance, and impact investing sectors.

Joshua McCann has a diverse education history. Joshua pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The Wharton School and completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) degrees at Bond University. Prior to that, they attended Darwin High School. Additionally, Joshua had the opportunity to study Finance, Trade, and International Law as part of an exchange program at Duke University School of Law.
