Eduardo Dias

Eduardo Dias is an accomplished actuary and technical director with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at Una Seguros SA since October 2021, Eduardo manages the Actuarial, Underwriting, and Reinsurance Teams and oversees key projects, including IFRS17 for Life and Non-Life. Prior roles include Chief Actuary at Mudum - Companhia de Seguros from January 2015 to September 2021, where oversight of the Non-Life Actuarial Office occurred, and Senior Actuary at NOVO BANCO from April 2004 to January 2015, leading the Life Actuarial Division. Eduardo's career began as an Actuary at Tranquilidade Vida and includes experience in data analysis and statistical programming. Academically, Eduardo holds a Master of Science in Actuarial Sciences from ISEG, a Master of Science in Statistics and Information Management from NOVA IMS, and a Licentiate degree in Mathematics/Statistical Sciences from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
