Desiree Salinas

Desiree Salinas is currently serving as a Summer Assistant Foundation at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago since June 2024, and is a Scholar with One Million Degrees since March 2023. Previous experience includes positions at City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College in the Wellness Center and Office of the President from January 2023 to March 2024, an Internship at Depaul USA from December 2022 to April 2023, and coaching at Girls in the Game from November 2022 to February 2023. Desiree began a career in the beauty industry at Douglas J Aveda Institutes & Salons from December 2020 to May 2021, focusing on client services and customer care. Education includes ongoing studies at City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College and Douglas J Aveda, alongside a High School Diploma from IHSCA Charter High School obtained in 2016.
