Co-founder at One Million Degrees

Michael Golden has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michael was the Publisher at JEWDICIOUS, where they provided original commentary on life's complexities from a Jewish perspective. Michael also worked as a Strategic Advisor at Vibe Israel, providing strategic guidance. Michael Golden authored two books, "ETHICAL TRIBING: Connecting the Next Generation to Israel in the Digital Era" and "Unlock Congress," with the latter addressing the need for congressional reform. Michael also co-founded One Million Degrees, a non-profit scholarship program for low-income community college students, and Newsbound, an online media and software company. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Michael co-founded Complete The Degree, an initiative aimed at assisting adults in completing their college degrees. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Campaign Manager for Melissa Bean for Congress and as the Communications Director for John Kerry For President | Missouri.

Michael Golden began their education at Indiana University Bloomington, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Michael attended the university from 1985 to 1989, majoring in Communication and Media Studies. After a substantial gap, they returned to school in 2001 and enrolled at DePaul University. There, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Services Management, completing their studies in 2003.
