Taneka G.

Taneka G. currently serves as a Program Coordinator at Harold Washington College and Harry S. Truman College for One Million Degrees since August 2023. Previously, Taneka held several positions within the Racine Unified School District from February 2016 to August 2023, including 7th Grade Science Teacher, Title One Middle School Math Teacher, and Youth Advocate, along with substitute teaching and teaching a summer session for Write Brain Books. Taneka's experience also includes a short tenure as a Fourth Grade Teacher with Center for Urban Teaching, Inc. and a Family Success Coach with United Way of Racine County, focusing on developing individual success plans for participants in various areas. Taneka's career in education began as a paraprofessional at Racine Unified School District from 2002 to 2012.
