Caryl has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including serving as the Chief Operational Risk Officer at Wells Fargo from January 1986 to December 2014. Caryl has a passion for helping others and improving the lives of those affected by mental illness.

Caryl Athanasiu's educational career includes a Master of Science from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, a Jurisprudence & Social Policy degree from University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Northwestern University.
