Anusha Venkataraman

Anusha Venkataraman is an experienced leader in urban planning and community engagement, currently serving as the Managing Director of Central Providence Opportunities at ONE Neighborhood Builders since March 2023. Previously, Anusha held significant positions in the City of New York, including Executive Director Emeritus and Executive Director of the Racial Justice Commission from April 2021. Anusha also served as NYC Chief Service Officer in the NYC Office of the Mayor, leading a division focused on civic engagement through volunteerism. With a robust background that includes senior roles in housing, neighborhood planning, and sustainability initiatives, Anusha has consulted for various organizations and managed community projects. Anusha's academic credentials include a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University.
