Utkarsh Anand Saxena, PhD, currently serves as Chapter Lead - Gen AI at One New Zealand since November 2024. Prior experience includes roles as AI & Skills - Tech Lead/Manager and AI - Tech Lead/Manager at Fuel50 from February 2023 to November 2024, and Senior R&D Software Engineer/Manager and R&D Software Engineer at Soul Machines from March 2019 to February 2023. Utkarsh held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Doctoral Research Scholar at The University of Auckland from March 2013 to February 2019, focusing on programming education and research on brain pressure dynamics. Additional experience includes regional coordination for robotic programs, internships at Amul India, Bharat Electronics Limited, and a focus on embedded systems and robotics education. Utkarsh earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Master's in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a specialization in Advanced Radio and Control Systems from The University of Auckland.
