Arpita Venugopal

Arpita Venugopal has extensive work experience in the visual effects industry. Arpita has held various roles at different companies, starting with MPC in 2010 as an FX TD. Arpita then worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks from 2013 to 2014 in the same role. Arpita then joined Double Negative in 2014 as a Houdini FX TD until 2015. Following that, they worked at Weta Digital as an FX TD from 2015 to 2016. Arpita then joined DNEG in 2016 as an FX TD until 2019. Currently, they are working at One of Us as the Head of FX, leading and managing a talented team of artists. Arpita'sexpertise lies in Houdini, particularly in building efficient setups and finding creative solutions to technical problems in the FX pipeline.

Arpita Venugopal completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Visual Communication from M.O.P Vaishnav in 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Digital Effects at Bournemouth University from 2008 to 2009.
